Got out on sunday on a small local river here in northern IL, was 60 degrees, sunny, light wind and fish came up shallow! Saw a whole bunch of carp but am still getting used to my new bow, boat, and shaking off the rust from winter. Me and my younger brother still ended up with 5 big fat carp for the afternoon, felt so good to get out and stick something with my new Mission Menace out of my new 12' jon boat

What recipe do you use for carp?
How do you cook these and how do they taste?

I fry them up in a black contractor garbage bag and generously donate them to the local waste facility  these common carp are mud eaters and have a nasty taste
