I'm surprised someone has not said anything about it yet. PSE has released there 2014 line up on there web site. The new top bow called full throttle has a IBO of 370 :jaw:. Now im not all about speed but thats just crazy I think.

I love PSE bows. Mathews needs to change their slogan not only have we caught them we have sped right past them :)

5-1/4" brace height, I'll pass. I bet they sell a bunch of them though.

I like the specs on the Source. Might have to try to shoot one over winter.

I'm interested in the Source as well. I'm shooting the Prophecy this year. It's the first bow I've ever used with less than a 7" brace height. I guess I can't tell a whole lot of difference between a 6" and 7" brace height when shooting them. Not a fan of the 6" brace height though because I can't use my favorite rest; the Trophy Ridge Revolution. With the QuickFletch, the vanes are too close to the rest and hit the inside arm of the rest when you lock it in. Went to the NAP Apache Rest this year. Starting to really like it now as well. Very quiet.

Here I am hoping brace heights to get longer and now some companies barely have even a 7 in their line up anymore...all that speed just puts fog screen over the eyes of some. Love the look though.

How is PSE's customer service? I have heard bad things about them but have no first hand knowledge so I figured I'd ask.

I love the shorter brace height bows. My Revenge is 6.25"...I don't like anything more than 7" I think the 6" range is perfect. I think I'm gonna pick up the new DNA SP, or the Premonition after the first of the year. I just bought my Revenge a few months back...lol. I'm really liking all their new 2014 bows. I love the speed & power. I love the dual cam bows anyway....I tried a single cam...there ok...but not for me I guess. I like the full throttle...but that bow is not for me...the other two I mentioned was....atleast I think...lol

As far as a few posts above.....the customer service is pretty good from what I have seen.

It's like anything on the market...I've heard and seen crap with Mathews, Hoyt, Elite, Bowtech....all of them. If I was to repeat everything i've heard and seen over the years it would take all night to post...lol. I am a PSE & Hoyt guy though. Love the bows they make. I'm all for pick and shoot what you like most. I'm not just jump into threads and say dumb stuff i've heard. I had a guy at a bow shop tell me once a Mathews & Bowtech was a POS....lol. I don't believe that either!

Honestly...the quietest bow I've seen shot in a long time is my Brute X...it's a single cam though. Then the other two was a Bowtech...I think it was the Insanity maybe....can't remember exactlty. Then the Hoyt Spyder 30 is a whisper. My Revenge is quit...but nothing like those three.

I wasn't trying to stir anything, it's just that CS is one of the most important things I look for in a purchase. Don't care if you got the fastest or the prettiest if your CS is crap your product is crap.
But 370 is blazing hot. Would like to see it happen in person.

Oh not at all....IMO, its one of those things. I've had great luck with the CS over the years. Now the next guy might not have. I love Hoyt's as well....but i've had crap with their CS...lol. My buddy had bad luck with his Mathews CS...then another friend had great luck with Mathews. What I have learned too over the years....Warranty is as only good as the dealer you take it too.

For some reason I don't really like the looks of any of those bows.?. But if I could shot the lights out with one I'd sure enough use it! I've never shot a PSE?I'm not a brand snob either. If it works it works!

I have had great reults with there customer service. Only propblem i had with one of my pse is the limbs had a slight splinter crack in the paint, I kept a eye on it and it never got worse but they sent me new limbs. Also had a problem with the bottom cam one of the adjustments kept sliding so they sent me the new updated one. All these for free no questions and fast.
Looks dont matter its if you like how it shoots :poke:
