2014 NM Bull

    Had the opportunity to hunt the first bowhunt on the Valles Caldera in NM this year (first home state elk tag in 4 years!) - talk about an awesome place! Shot this one at 43 yds and he went 60 and went down. Dear old dad was my huntin' partner on this one, that alone makes this a once-in-a-lifetime bull!

    I've been to Cloudcroft (visiting our daughter and family - not hunting) Don't know how far that is from where you were - but it's suppose to be great elk country there.
