With time to prepare, the field now meets all the requirements the NFL had of it, including the heated coils under the field so it does not freeze....you know, just like the "frozen" tundra does. It was a good deal for the university as the Vikings stuck a bunch of money into an already new stadium.
What happens to any NFL franchise that loses their starting QB? The league is going to protect their assets. If Rugby generated the $ that the NFL does they would be paid like the NFL players, don't begrudge the players because the NFL is superior finically. Plus I get sick of people saying that rugby is so much tougher, rugby players do not wear pads or helmets and thus do not hit as hard as the football players. Not saying rugby isn't a violent sport but please don't compare it to football
The tundra at lambeau has not been frozen for years the Packers have a state of the art composite field
Hopelessly rooting for the Bills... year after year after year after year. Hopefully we'll at least make the playoffs this year with Sammy Watkins' help (sad to pin a years worth of hope on one dude when it's a team sport).
What exactly is wrong with the Gophers stadium? Anyone I know who has been there tell me it is really nice?
The stadium is really nice. Hopeless Gophers. Not hopeless stadium. Maybe it will be full for vikings games. The goofs sure can't get anybody to go even with a new stadium.
i can't disagree with you there...I just hope the gophers continue to improve. Their defense was pretty good last year but need to improve on offense.
Heinz Field will be too hot to freeze this year! Shazier, an Ohio State product by the way, is going to light it up. I only hope Manzel gets in the first game so Ryan can welcome him to the league!
Soldier Field is a mess on a good day. Any bears fan that argues that is an idiot. Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Tapatalk 2
First fantasy football draft in the books. 10 team 2QB PPR: 5th pick - Adrian Peterson. Happy with the draft, think I will have a good shot at winning it with it being 2QB and a PPR. Team name: Beats by Ray 1. (5) Adrian Peterson (Min - RB) 2. (16) Drew Brees (NO - QB) 3. (25) Zac Stacy (StL - RB) 4. (36) Larry Fitzgerald (Ari - WR) 5. (45) Matt Ryan (Atl - QB) 6. (56) Julian Edelman (NE - WR) 7. (65) Jeremy Maclin (Phi - WR) 8. (76) Greg Olsen (Car - TE) 9. (85) Joique Bell (Det - RB) 10. (96) Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR) 11. (105) Ray Rice (Bal - RB) 12. (116) Kansas City (KC - DEF) 13. (125) Justin Hunter (Ten - WR) 14. (136) Carlos Hyde (SF - RB) 15. (145) Brian Hartline (Mia - WR) 16. (156) Nick Novak (SD - K)
Watched the Packers preseason game last night. Still some questions at TE, though I like Richard Rodgers. I still wish we had a healthy Finley. The rookie receivers look great. The running game looks even better and Rodgers looks amazing. We're going to score some points for sure. The run defense looks stout. It was nice to see Peppers get some pressure but he sure does look tired. The secondary was disappointing, especially Shields. Of course, big payday guys usually take the preseason off. Andrew Luck looks pretty good. Ej Manuel does not.
Tough luck for the Rams and Bradford. I'll bet he'll never be a starter in the NFL again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ya that definately sucks, tough break. So how's everyone else feeling so far now that we are finally just about done with pre-season?
