    I believe the vest is the Core Extreme actually. I've had one for two years and love it. It's definitely a little on the warm side so you don't want to do a ton of walking/hiking during early season with it on. I typically use it as a layering piece when it gets colder out, or pack it in and throw it on when I'm in stand on October evening hunts. It's pretty well wind proof which is nice. I wear mine a lot when I'm checking trail cameras, looking for sheds, etc.

    The 1/4 zip silver extreme piece is very light weight but surprisingly warm for it's size. A base layer plus the 1/4 zip and the vest are a great combo for most October afternoon hunts.
