Can't applaud this shot choice. Awesome buck but not a shot choice I condone.

Shot this guy a little over an hour ago opening day in WI...not the biggest but he's a great trophy to me! And he looks like a twin to the buck I took during bow season.

Yesterday morning at 9:45 in SW Wisconsin. image.jpg

Had one a little bit bigger at 40 yds at 7:10 this morning but on the wrong side of the fence. Couldnt shoot him. Hoped he would've went past my Dad, but didn't hear anything.

Great bucks guys! Here is my opening day WI buck. First time picking up a rifle in years, crawled deep into some public property and had a blast! This will be a new yearly accurance! [IMG]

I was able to harvest a doe Saturday morning of Wisconsin's gun season at 20 yards. Saturday afternoon I was able to harvest one of our hit-listers an hour before dark. He came into our corn food plot and I shot him at 50 yards and ran 30 yards and fell over. He was a 3.5 year old 10 pointer with a split brow tine. Had a 23 inch spread. I found his sheds last year when he was 2.5.

I honestly would be nervous if it was public land. Tell your brother congrats

Got this little guy this morning. Using a 20 guage slug gun. Not the one I intended, they did a switch, but meat will be good. First deer since 2010 (besides hunt in IL last year).
