I will most likely get to make this one, no weddings to go to that weekend! Yay! If anyone is from the Mt. Horeb/Dodgeville, WI area and wants to drive down for the day hit me up!

Very new to the site but if you don't have to be a vet to this forum I would like to go. Don't live very far from there and do not have to work that weekend.

I'm really interested in attending the G2G this June and I'm looking for information about the place it's held, costs, events, and anything that'll help me prepare for the camping. Does anyone know where I can find this information with looking through all the post?

We are working to finalize everything as we speak. The shoot is June 7th in Garden Prairie, IL at Coon Creek Hunt Club. About a hour west of Chicago. Many people that travel from a distance usually camp and I will have more details about that in the next month or so once the campground reopens for the season. If you don't want to camp I know that lodging can be found in the area but I have never looked into it before. We will get everyone more details as they become available!

Not sure how many others will be booking in Rockford but from my experience I would not recommend staying at motel 6 or red roof inn.

From the looks of it I think we are gonna need to do some creative campground planning. We are gonna have a lot of people this year! Can't wait for it to get here!

Everyone is certainly welcome to stay where ever they want. We organize a place for those that want to camp and all hang out together. In all honesty my time spent at the campground is my favorite of the entire event and I look forward to sitting around the fire with everyone most of all. With any luck this tradition will continue at least till I am to old to attend anymore!

Yeah the camp is the best part for sure. Ferg we could take over the field that was behind the tents and vehicles last year.

Anyone want to split a camp site this year with me? I plan on showing up wednesday sometime. If anyone is interested let me know. :tu:
