Interesting I'll call Will and see if they have heard anything regarding that. Guessing that guy won't last long as enough people will complain

I just got off the phone with Will. He said he hasn't heard anything about having to move camp or anyone having to move camp. He said possibly in the wilderness area but we are technically in a national forest and if for some reason they do throw a fit we will move camp 50' or to homestake a half mile away or so. He is going food shopping next week we will touch base on Monday to see what else we need.

I plan on bringing a generator for the big tents to hook up to for light and I'll make hopefully 100 breakfast burritos next week. Is anybody allergic to or have a problem with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoe, cheeses?

Looks like rain gear is going to be our best friend the first few days.

I just bought a tarp, a Sawyer mini filtration system, some chapstick and a base layer.

This water filter is pretty neat. They claim it can filter up to 100,000 gallons of water. I can fill up a water bottle and screw it right onto it. Pretty neat.

The Sawyer is what I have. I have used it many, many times and no Beaver fever lol. Works great, it's just slow as all get out.

Good to hear. I plan on carrying plenty of water but if I need it I don't care how slow it is. Lol

Does rain change the hunting much? I plan on being there Saturday to Sunday.

I would assume it would have some change in the hunting. I'm not sure when I'm getting in yet. It will be mid morning Friday or early Saturday.

Usually the rain doesn't last all day just a quick half hour hour shower or snow storm. Not that it cant sit all day and pour or dump rain but usually short lived

That won't be bad then. I'm sure I'm way over packing on clothes lol. Want to make sure I have enough. Did realize after going through it all I need at least 2 or 3 more long sleeve camo shirts.

We will be in camp very soon guys! Can't wait to meet everyone and get to know you guys.

Leaving in 5 days! Just about have all my stuff. Keep packing and repacking my bag trying to get everything fit really good. Picked up one of those freeze dried meals that you just add water to. Wasn't too bad. Think I might pick up a bunch and bring my little survival stove so I got something to eat on the mountain besides snacks.

That's what I'm doing. I'll probably back 2 or 3 of those meals so I can cook real quick if need be.

Can you make a few with no cheese? I'm lactose intolerant and though I can eat cheese, I will spend half my time squatting in the woods.

Make sure you keep your bow close, I missed a shot on a Bull in 2010, due to take an untimely dump, while my bow was out of reach :(
