Here are a few pics. Food for the week. Moving our camp in rain and 40 mph winds. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
Will- you know I come to camp every time expecting a new experience, I've learn't so much in my 3 previous trips, this year will be no different. If I get an Elk, like you said its a bonus, if I don't it means I still get to have a great time with friends old and new..... but I am due my Elk Looking forward to seeing you all at camp in 11 days!
It's good knowing security will be tight now that Rex is there...glad he made it out again. OK...that got me fired up...I am always anxious to hear that first bugle, one of my favorite sounds!
I picked up a few last things for the trip over the weekend. Shot the bow some more, organized and re-organized everything I'm taking. My house is starting to look like a Cabelas exploded.
I am having trouble concentrating on anything other than this trip now. I wish time would hurry the **** up.
I've been out tuning my bow to my broadheads the last 2 days. My wife is sick of all my hunting stuff in our room also. Postal guy probably is wondering what's going on cause I've been getting packages constantly. I think the wife is ready to sell me.
Sorry about that But I know the feeling...that pic was from first night I rolled in - sure can't beat rolling into this mega-setup and just plopping a cot down, man did I feel spoiled. Rex from NY was the only one around and was working to get the heaters going (Rex is the ultimate Mr. Fixit)...others were still out hunting or being transported by Will from airport to camp (it was Friday night)...they all rolled in soon after...we all were up and hit it hard Saturday early...what a great week that was!
Hope to catch some of you around camp that Saturday when we roll in...but don't think I'm stuck up if you are out hunting and I'm asleep when you get back That first night is always rough with driving thru the night and getting no sleep...I was in bed before sundown last year...then I'm pretty much a night owl the rest of the week...
Looks like me and chopy are going to be car pooling so once he gets his paperwork finalized we will nail down an actual schedule. I'm hoping to arrive saturday afternoon. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I'm sure it's been covered, but do you need to wear orange for the few days that overlap the muzzleloader season? I found it in the regs, but as it reads I could see it going either way.
I looked it up Fitz and you are suppose to wear 40 sq inches of pink. You should be good with a pink hat and vest.
