Im shooting field tips from a different set of FMJ to practice on here. I just had my new FMJs arrive, I don't have any broadhead targets here to practice on. So i'm practicing, just not with the FMJs with broadhead that I would be using.

you will be able to tune in at camp if needed. We will have a couple targets. Are the weights the same?

What are you shooting now compared to what your broad heads are?

Ran by the archery shop today and got him to get me a dozen arrows ready. Still waiting to get paid for a job before I order some last minute items. The way it's going I might be making a cabelas stop on the way lol.

I don't know what I'm shooting. But it should be relatively the same. For elk hunting
Fmj injexions with 100 grain qad exodus and it came in St 456.

Haven't weighed my practice but it's an earlier model of fmj with 100 grain field tip

Found this guy (girl?) yesterday. Big ol' mountain spider.

Poked at a rattlesnake with stick the other day.

But what scared me was the grouse that flew off from right in front of me. Lol

Trees are changing colors already. :)

You really need to make sure to shoot your broadheads before coming out. I shoot muzzy 3 blades and was hitting 4 inches left and 2 inches low at 20 yards. 40 yards was bad. I have since corrected the problem but it took alot of patience to get the longer shots dead on.

Laundry mat shower is best $5 you'll spend on this whole trip!...and if you haven't done it by mid week, campmates will probably make you:)

Should I have done it differently? Lol

Kidding I didn't actually touch my sight much. I moved my rest slightly until my arrow flight looked better and my poi was the same. Gonna shoot through paper this weekend.

This is one thing I'll have a hard time getting used to. I usually shower twice a day. I'll probably be OCD with the baby wipe baths :D

This reminds me. It surely has been mentioned before but... layers!

If the CO mountains are anything like they are in UT, the temps change pretty fast.

So, if you're a mountain newbie, be prepared to layer. :)
