The web site now says its having problems and will be back up 10:30 mountain time 11:30 central time. Phone still busy I bet they are getting calls like crazy Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk
No reason really. I just want to have everything ready. Knowing my luck I'd forgot some paperwork and would have to scramble getting things faxed out lol.
For over the counter you can wait a awhile no rush I am trying to get a left over doe tag so I can shoot two deer this year and only so many are available is why I'm trying today. Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk
I do recommend getting your tag before you come though as I would hate for someone to travel so far and find out they forgot something and wasn't able to purchase a tag once here. Its more of just piece of mind knowing you can hunt once here. But its up to you. If you know you have everything required to purchase a tag once here thats your decision
If you are planning on purchasing a license, be sure to have the following: • Your driver's license/state issued identification card, • Proof of hunter education: hunter education card or a Colorado hunting license with verified hunter education, • Your social security number (anyone 12 years of age and older are required to give their social security number, if not already on file), • Your customer identification number (CID), if you have previously purchased a license in Colorado, • Proof of residency, if you are planning to purchase a resident license, • A prioritized list of hunt codes for licenses you are interested in.
I got through on the phone and an automated recording says the website is temporarily down and please keep trying then hangs up on you. LOL Now the error message says 11:30 Moutain time
dang well i hope you end up getting through. I may be sticking with just my mule deer tag. ran in to a hiccup with buying our house (hiccup cause by the sellers) and long story short, it cost me $3500 bucks. Not thrilled but after running the numbers, I'm glad i still am able to come.
Ok the site seems to bo working now. I put in for a left over doe whitetail tag for my area here around home and purchased a resident either sex archery elk tag. I did not have to put in anything about the area. I believe you can hunt in any of the OTC valid units as long as you have the OTC tag.
Yes sir should be able to. Its less hectic for me and I get to skip a lot of steps because my information is saved with them. But all I did was click on purchase online, put in my name and information, clicked on over the counter, archery elk either sex, drop down menu for quanity of tags, (1 was the only option), and put in payment info Printed of my Trasnaction number that describes what I purchased
And... There are some leftover Bear - Rifle tags for unit 45 for Sept 2nd-30th...just sayin' ...but does not appear to be any archery bear leftover...
