I will be keeping mine on there. It's a slider so if a longer shot presents itself I can move my sight. I hate the clutter of multipin sights.

My elk/mule deer season starts in 67 days. I am sooo unprepared. :(

I also got a puppy last week and that's keeping me from doing any real hiking. Gah!!

She's been on a few short hikes. She's just seven weeks old so I'm trying not to break her. "They" say your only supposed to let your dog walk 5 minutes for every month of age. Sheesh. Let's hope "they" don't see me taking her up in the mountains.

This may have been more than a 10 minute walk. ;)

If you decide to get a new set of binos you should look at the Vortex Diamondbacks. I looked through them at the store alongside of some more expensive ones and couldn't tell the difference. Normally retail for $239 but I found a site that has them for $199. If you want the website let me know.

Ya it looks like it will be a good turn out! Awesome thing Will does for this. Wouldn't be elk hunting anytime soon had it not been for him.

I Can't wait either, I am an elk hunting rookie and it's all I think about. I've done a few local fishing get-togethers but never a hunting camp.

My wife and kids bought me a bike tonight for an early Fathers Day gift. Time to get off the couch and get in better shape :)

Ive actually been talking to will alot and have been planning to come for months. My school schedule should work out fine, so count me in.

If I were only able to come in 24-28 or some other random selection of dates, im guessing id have to rent a car and get up there myself off of the airport?

Well, since im catching up 50 pages and I probably wont go through it all here is my list.

    Own
    Binos 8x32 Vortex HD
    Boots
    Camo
    Bow
    Arrows

    Need to buy
    Rangefinder
    GPS
    Broadheads
    Sleeping bag
    Knife (most likely buying Havalon)
    Bow Case (most likely SKB)

Man I better get on this, I was planning on buying another glock, but that might have to go on the backburner.

Nope. Ive talked to Will about it too so he is aware. I was going to go turkey hunting here alone but apparently you need a hunters ed! Too bad I didnt have it. I am however, from the west. Not that it adds anything to one's hunting ability.

I was about to purchase a Kifaru Highcamp pack today with it being on sale, but, im going to hopefully snag one off the classifieds for cheaper.

Hey this guy is selling duplex frame. It's about 100 cheaper than retail, I originally wanted the bikini frame, think I should pick up this duplez? Anyone know the difference?

Also what size cubic inches did you buy? I was thinking about getting 4800 since we'll have a base camp.
