You can get a one day Small game license for $11 and $5 for each additional day. You would already have your habitat stamp because of your elk tag but would need you get your HIP number.

L2D there is always something to be done around camp, target range will be set up and there is always a look at the the old Camp Hale ground and Leadville just up the highway(I love that place), or take a fishing rod, as there is a nice lake down at Homestake :)

I'm taking my little 4ft Telescopic rod this year, as the Either sex Elk tag has fishing licence attached too.

Does this camp exist every year?
I plan on coming to Colorado in 2015 with a friend but want to make it either annual or semi annual trip. Would love to have an area of mutual minded folks that could/would share their experience with me!

The Big Camp is a bi-yearly thing, which is held on every even year, I've attended in 2008, 2010 and this year. 2013 I went a different unit with Rudy from Huntography, which was fun :-)

Time to get everyone caught up! Life has been hell for me since Feb. 1st. I had to demo (93%) and then reconstruct an 8200 sq. ft. commercial building and was given two months to complete the task...new bathrooms, new electrical services, walls new carpet...the works. I've been working my *** off! I finished the job on time and have spent the last few weeks working on change orders. Well, a week ago, I was rewarded with a, "We are retiring you effective April 24th." I was floored, especially after 35 years of making the company money hand over fist!

On the bright side, You mugs will have to look at my ugly face for the duration of the upcoming hunt! I picked up four more cots in an effort to keep up with everyone coming. I am excited! For the first time in my life, I'll be running on my own schedule!

Matt, an airline ticket to Illinois fixes that wall problem and more post haste!

Congrats on the retirement Will, forced or not. It wil be great to be able to do anything you want on your own time.

I'm really pumped about this hunt. I need to start getting in shape soon. Chiropractor gave me the all clear today from a messed up neck, so I'm getting off my butt this week and going to burn some calories :)

BACKSTRAPASSASSIN if your willing to ride with some PA peeps 2016 we could link up for the big camp and ride together.

Very sorry to hear about your works surprise retirement. Sounds like a great reason to start " huckleberry construction/ remodeling":).
You've gorgeous a fantastic attitude and integrity so I'm sure your retirement will be short lived and now you have time to get down to Fla and hog hunt with me.

Best of Luck Will. I think I'll miss you guys by a few days this year but I'm planning to be back at No Name in 2015.

Not sure if Rex is coming or not Dave. He has been invited. At his advanced age, it's best to live day to day, one woman at a time. You know Rexxy! They don't call him sexy without reason! I finally have a box for your bow.You need to shoot me an addy.

Thanks everone for the retirement wishes, and yes Andrew, retirement will be short lived. My full intention is to start my own company doing exactly what I have been doing for the past 35 years. I like the idea of doing work for myself verses someone else! Yeah, more risk, but also more reward. I will push hard and see where this all goes....still a lot of chase in me.

Will - a professional like yourself would get a pretty good laugh watching an office softy like myself trying to act like a contractor. If my Honey Do projects get any bigger I might just buy that plane ticket:)

    Enjoy the journey BB!

FB - sounds like you got a good one in! Keep us updated...

Dave - Any others from your area making the big trip with you?

Andrew - what day you actually start hunting? Hoping to get a picture from you not too long after that;)

Not sure what the camp would do without Rexy.
Will - after your retirement announcement - I just pictured you sitting around, sulking, do nothing...NOT!
Good Luck with whatever is next! Maybe you can give yourself an extra week of vacation now:)

Will, congrats on the business move. Someone that works as hard as you do will be successful. Hopefully you will get more time off to hunt.

Haha to go on MORE hunts in his position isn't physically possible I don't think.... I'm just hoping his new venture allows him to keep the same pace. Will is one hunting machine!

I don't doubt for one second that we will see a very relaxed and chilled Will(no change there then) at this years camp, especially after I have plied him with a dram or two of Scotland's finest Malt :).

    Matt:-
Looks like I may be travelling alone this time, our trip to GMU-6 last years has put Andy out, although Phil is going to see if he can raise funds when he gets back from Africa. I have asked and did have interest from another, but he has still to take his IBEP and will need to get gear bought too.... so that may be why I've not heard from him. We'll see, there is still time :/
