2014 Colorado Archery Elk Hunt Invite

It's a 20 hour trip and there's 4 of us. We switch drivers at each fuel up.

 

dang what are you driving that you can fit 4 people and all that gear?

Well last post for me. Decided to stay at the home for the night and sleep. See you folks in the am around 4:30. 4 hours sleep in the past 40 hours makes a body scream for rest. See you all in the morning.

Heading out now. About 6 hours with a stopover at Cabelas in Denver. On tracking for noonish to 2

 

In Des Moines iowa to grab a burger then back on the road.....what a drive....looks like we will be setting up the tent in the dark....stopping in Denver at cabelas cause....ummm....well....it's pretty much a must do...then on to camp....8 830 eta....hope everyone's having some kind of luck out there today!

 

Just got to cabelas here in denver. Fixing to fill up, grab a bite to eat, then head up to camp!

goes from Denver to Idaho springs. If you look at your gps you should be lots of red a bit past Denver. I believe our phone re routed us and took us about 45 minutes to get out of it. I doubt it'll be totally cleared by the time you get there as it was backed up quite a bit. never saw the cause.
