CMT---We are looking to get to OH possibly Saturday morning November 1st....setting up camp then hunting the afternoon. I am thinking we could hunt from Sunday the 2nd to Wednesday the 5th, give or take a day.

Also, anyone that plans on going please PM me your e-mail. We can set up an email distribution list and discuss all kinds of things like supplies, topo scouting, etc.

Also, nothing is set in stone. If someone has a better option than the Wayne National Forest I am all ears.

Do we have any specifics on where we want to stay. If we are looking at meeting up on Saturday morning I will have to leave Fiday the 31st and crash at a cheap hotel somewhere close by. It will probably be a 14 hour drive for me. I will plan on hunting all week, if anyone else is interested in staying that long.

No specifics yet. I was looking over some maps the other day. That is why I am trying to get everyone on the e-mail list. We can narrow down where we want to camp in proximity to the area we would like to hunt. I think Saturday morning would be a good time to meet up. We could set up base camp and possibly still be able to hunt the afternoon for a few hours.

I thought I sent you my email address, if not I will pm you it again. Feel free to send me some emails of what you ar looking at. A guy from my local archery shop has hunted a lot on public land in Ohio and told me he could give me some ideas of places as well. I could pick his brain with what you are looking at and look for other suggestions as well. Let me know. I have not camped out in many years so some ideas on what I need to pick up to be comfortable would be greatly appreciatd as well.

Sorry Dmen. My wife got a new job and I will be switching shifts at work. Hopefully they will honor the leave I've already been granted. I should know in the next couple of weeks.

I was wondering of your wife's new job would impact your hunting plans.

I should be ok because I have some help with the kids. I don't think I will have a problem getting my leave days honored. I am starting to get more e-mails from people stating they want/will be attending, so I really want to make it. I am 90% confident I will be able to do so. Heck, what is the point of me working 30-40 hours of overtime every month over the past three months if I can't hunt a little! :)

Even though my wife's job changed and it makes things a little more difficult for me, I still plan on attending. I am thinking about arriving early Saturday morning on Nov 1st, set a quick camp with you guys, then hit the woods in the afternoon. I can stay until about Wednesday November 5th but I am sure some of you would like to stay the entire week and that is cool.

Or people can start arriving as early as Oct 30 or 31st and start setting a good campsite before everyone else arrives. That right there would get you a free case of beer from me. :)

So does arriving late on Oct 31st or early on Nov 1st sound good to you guys?
