did anyone pick the Bucs? wow Lovie Smith has alot of work to do down there...didn't expect this from them 0-3, McCown might not be starting QB material, and honestly don't know why Smith before training camp came out and stated he was the starter, Glennon actually looked good last season
As a panthers fan I'm happy to see the bucs struggle. However, as a football fan it was painful. I am not sure what folks were expecting with the old tampa 2 guru down there. Between Lovie and Frasier what exactly did folks think was going to happen. The game has passed by some of these coaches and they may be best as coordinators. When John Fox was run out of Charlotte, I often thought he would be out of work if not for Peyton Manning coming to the rescue in Denver. The days of 250 yds passing and soft coverage is over for now. Quarterbacks release too quickly and skilled players are lined up at every position not just a #1 receiver. Schianno set that team back a few years and honestly its going to take deep drafts to undo the damage. They need more talent and a coach who doesnt adhere to 1980's football.
lol spoken by a Panthers fan, why should anyone have expected anything other then negative comments....if you were speaking of Me expecting more from Tampa, I wasn't expecting a SB or anything, but 0-3 out of the gate with that offense...2 studs WR's and a decent OL and McCown having a really good season in Chicago last season, 1 would have had to be a Panthers fan or neive to think they wouldnt have been better then 0-3

So what your saying is that the teams Lovie had in Chicago had less talent? Even though I'm a panthers fan, I watch numerous games. From where I'm sitting Lovie has never coaxed much from the talent he has had. To sit there and watch Hester run wild over you team and you had him in his prime is testatment to the fact that the game has passed certain coaches by. Lovie Smith being one of them.
Not a Bucs fan by any stretch of the imagination, but you do remember Lovie for most of his stay (and Super Bowl season) in Chicago had Rex Grossman under center, Lovies Defense dating back to when he was the DC in St Louis has always been very good, I think that the Bucs being 0-3 right now is a very depressing fact that they need a lot of help.... Give him next season or after and the Bucs will be tough again... Lovie is a fine HC IMHO, is and was all I am trying to say... Don't wanna sound rude or anything and if it came across that way I'm sorry too
