Officials were horrible in this game. Might as well take the pads off and play flag football. These new "safety rules" are killing the game.
If they don't have the safety rules it will also kill the game and probably worse. They have to do their due diligence to try and protect injuries. Yeah it sucks and I wish we could go back to how the game was played in 1985 but that is not reality.

That was a text book tackle....absolutely rediculous penalty The defender hit Rothlesberger in the chest and was looking straight at this target. Big Ben is a difficult guy to bring down compared to typical quarterbacks....defenders should be allowed to hit him and I don't think he even thought it deserved a flag.
Ok I watched it again. I get your point but Big Ben is sliding to his right and the guy catches him in the middle of the chest with his helmet. Hitting a moving target is hard and these guys are so fast. If Ben isn't moving I guess the guys shoulder gets Ben in the chest and then it's ok. If he is a fees inches higher he hits him in the chin while a few inches lower he is in the knee area. Small hitting zone for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank goodness Cousins took over the game for the Skins today. He is our qb.....his job to lose now. Suck it Seattle.
I shouldn't doubt. Now all the Chargers need to do is continue to play with that level of control. I'm on the fence about the Harvin TD, cause he is on my fantasy team.
