I am going to try spearing this year, I am going to have to empty my pockets before I go in the dark house. It is amazing how in a small ice shanty you drop anything and it ends up falling thru a hole.

We can't get a winter here in WY. It's killing me. I redid a reel last week in preparation, but the ice here was thin and is melting. Today was 52 degrees. I'm jonesing to get out on the ice!
I'm jealous. Our ice was just getting started then we got a warm up and is all but gone. I need to get a few buddies and make a trip up there this year, to a real walleye lake.
it's been way warm here in southern wyoming with my ankle still healing from surgery, my eyes are still fixed on trying to close out on a cow elk.
