Back on topic. Anyone else have issues with the on/off switch on the Scoutguard? It has happened with a few of mine. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Scoutguard has over 20 models now. Some of the models had the switch problem in the past, but it has been fixed. Being a ISO-9001 certified company, Boly fixes such things in a few months from field feedback.

What will they do about the bad switches on my older models?

Warranty service is done by the dealers.

That's unfortunate. International shipping is expensive, so no dealer would do repair service unless the camera is bought from him.

So, I would recommend the following:
    1. If you have any experience of soldering, then you can solder two wires out and make a simple camera outside of the
    switch hole.
    2. Or pay a repair service in a local electronic repair shop for a simple repair. A technician can get it fixed in about 10 minutes.
So I would say, a maximum $20 charge for the switch repair.

I will say, when I mentioned a new mineral attractant, the responses were poor too, seems from those who see "competition". My advice: realize everyone benefits from more positive posts.

    SugarCreek... are you the manufacturer?
