    Boly Media has released the 2013 product catalog, which includes cameras that can detect up to 100 feet (super Long Range). The following is a preliminary selection guide:

    Speaking of Picture quality, here is just an example of Boly's imaging technologies:

    About any cam can produce one good picture out of a 100. I would check out the 2013 Coverts or the Bushnell Trophy HD cams. Some say it doesn't make a difference with red blob IR cams but I can say where I hunt even does and yearling bucks will run for the next county if the cam is set for video. Pic or burst mode most will tolerate but with my three blackflash cams which I always use in video mode I have never seen a negative reaction. I know you said you didn't want to spend much and most will tell you to avoid the cheap Wildviews, Tasco's Etc mainly because they have extremely slow triggers and really blurry IR pics.

    The 100 feet, Super Long Range game camera, Scoutguard SG968K is available to dealers now. It should be on sales on the web or some stores in 2-3 weeks.

    Dont WASTE Your Money. Id Buy a walmart special before one of these, just based on the fact that theres one pic, no details other then a "chart" and your takin someones word that he has these "for sale". Buy a Covert, hell buy a wildgame innovations for all i care but just dont wast money on somethin like this that has no customer recomendations. And you said he posted the same picture a few months back. Now stop an think bout that, no other pics in that amount of time??? Seems Sketchy To Me

    Rocky I have never used one of these cameras and I have never criticised the camera because I cant without using one but he constantly criticizes other cameras and rarely shows any pics. So he has the best camera available and has to show the same pic for months to show image quality? He is using a animal that almost no one will ever get a pic of so they think that is awesome.

    Where's the pricing too? So not only the one pic and the blasting of other brands, there's no feasible way for me to review all their cameras easily and if I was interested to know if affordable...

    In case some one cares about picture quality, here is just a few pointers:
    http://www.chasingame.com/index.php?id=288
    http://www.chasingame.com/index.php?id=276

    If you google "Scoutguard picture” in picture search mode, you get just too many.
    There will be a dedicated company web page on picture samples from all over the world.
    So, just be patient.

    Picture quality is feat of technology. If the company can make one camera to produce great pictures,
    it can just make every camera (if same or better components) to produce great pictures.
    And in the game camera business, no camera maker does better than Boly Media on picture quality.

    As for the pricing, the company only sets MSRP, and it is up to the dealer to set their own pricing.

    I did a Google search for the Scoutguard SG968K and can't find any in stock. I'd like to see how they stack up against other manufacturers. I like my Covert Red 40 for pics and my Bushnell 466, 476's for video.

    That review for the SG-560K-8M didn't sound too promising.

    Wow
    I opened a can of worms. 1st off, I thought Tom's coment was uncalled for, for his critism. Guess I never knew about his unanswered comment about pictures or any of the other questions. All I know is they do take great pictures because I have a few friends that use them over the last few years. All I was inquirying about was the price because the 100 foot distance would be good for those wide open places ,IE food plots and fields, corn crops. Man they would be useful in a lot of places that most TC's aren't. Sorry if I got some people Ticked off, it's an open forum then people should be allowed to voice their opinion with out being bashed. We're all on here to learn and offer assitance where needed. Over the last couple of years this site has pushed some great people and hunters away from here due to the bashing. I've made some great freinds off of this site and have personaly hunted with 4 or 5 off of here also. Where will I go if it continues? I'm actually sick of the bull crap that goes on in here with out any consequences. Fitz does an unreal job and who is here to aid him in his absence? Been here for 5 years and I still don't know who the moderater's are!!!!

    To who cares. I'm ticked:rant::rant:

    You will not have any information on SG968K except those from the company Brochure until someone does an independent review on this camera.

    From the spec,
    1. It has up to 100 feet detection at 60 degree angle, offering 6-8x more detection area than any of the cameras you just mentioned;
    2. It offers up to 75 feet lighting range, 3-4x more area coverage than any of the cameras above you mentioned;
    3. It has 720P HD video day and night.
    4. It offers decent 10MP pixel resolution, day and night.
    5. 1 second trigger time.

    It's up to you to make comparisons with other cameras.

    Rocky if I offended you then I am sorry. I have bashed cuddebacks before because I have bought a lot of them in the past and I think they did not do a good job with the camera or customer service. I also did not bash these cameras and said I havent used them. He has gone out of his way to bash Coverts at every chance he gets. Asking someone to post pics from a camera that he constantly says is best isnt asking for too much in my opinion.

    I have several Scoutguards and have used them for several years now. But, I have had problems with the on/off switch. Anyone know anything about that?
