Each hunter gets one bird to be used for their team score. Although, in multiple bird states, the hunter shall be allowed to enter their largest bird for the contest. Enter each bird as it is killed, the moderators will take care of the rest. Only bow kills will be accepted. The hunter must provide a picture of the full turkey, hunter and bow all in the same frame. No exceptions will be taken. If you aren't able to score your quarry for whatever reason, identify if your bird as a Hen, Bearded Hen, Jake, or Tom, and you can use this table if you're unable to score: Bearded Hens 15 points; Jakes 20 points; and Gobblers 30 points. Hunters must abide by their states specific turkey hunting regulations in order to enter a bird in this contest. This event is purely for fun so there is no reason whatsoever to have any legal issues. ENTERED Jake down in Kansas for team 11!!! My first bow bird! Taken at 2:00 pm on April 23. The bow is a Mathews z7x, fmj arrows, and turkey tomahawk broadheads. I shot him at the base of the neck from 15 yards and he only made it about 25 yards after that.
