Well boys, spent the day in Sparta yesterday checking out the new gear for this year. All I can say is - I think you're gonna like your options. Mine is already on order. :D While I was there I shot the Mission Ballistic and I have to say, for a $500 MSRP bow that sucker is pretty sweet! I would very highly recommend that bow to anyone looking for a new setup that doesn't want to drop $800-$1000 on a bare bow. 30" ATA, 7 inch brace, shoots 330 fps with the same AVS dual cam system on the Monster series bows. Get it in the black/orange combo and it looks SWEET!
New Matthews The new bow comes out 11/05/12. I was at the bow shop today and I was going to get a new Helim and they told me I might want to wait till next week because the new bow is coming. They said that Matthews hasn't released any info to anyone on the new bow yet but they said that once it hits the market that sales of the Helim are going to stop!!

Geez, maybe I should've waited a little longer to get the Ballistic.........Nah I love my Venture! But the Ballistic does seem like a very comparable setup, just a bit faster with the 2 cams. The only thing I don't like is the split limbs and the new mission logo so basically it's a couple of the cosmetics. Otherwise I think it's a sharp bow!
