I love to hunt with my kids . My adrenalin and heart rate go way higher when they are doing the shooting. My ten year old harvested a 129, 3/4 " 10 point with with a third main beam. We hunted 26 days for this particular deer! When it actually came to pass I thought I was going to have a stroke. The Lord helped him put a perfect heart shot at 18 yrds. He killed it with a Hoyt Ruckus and Magnus Buzzcut Broadhead. I have more fun guiding their hunts than killing deer myself! Does any one else feel this way?
I can't express how much I enjoy seeing this. As a kid, I appreciate with all my heart the people in my life introducing me to the outdoors. Kids are the future of bowhunting and getting them involved now is what is going to keep our sport alive. That's why I am volunteering as a fish and wildlife instructor in nj for bow certifications great thing you did sir! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
That's awesome stuff right there!!! Good deal. And Congrats to you and your Son on that Brute..... <+>< Ps 46: 1 ><+>
Still missing that like button That's a nice buck. Congrats to your son and you. I feel the same way. I love to duck hunt but hunting without my son just isn't the same. I've shot enough ducks in my life but watching him get excited over every bunch of birds just keeps my fire burning. Oh, he's 11 and shot 2 deer with his bow this year, his first year of bow hunting. He's hooked. This year during our gun season he refused to hunt with his gun even though I said to and all his buddies were killing deer with a gun he still kept taking his bow. So we bow hunted( I wont gun hunt either). I was very proud of him.
That's awesome and congrats to you both. I understand your feelings for sure. My son is grown and gone but I still like hearing his stories more than sharing my own with him. That's quite a crew you have there. Are those boys all yours?
