The folks at Hoyt released all of their new bows for 2013 on their Facebook page and YouTube earlier today. Looks like a pretty good lineup for this year. The Spyder Series is their top end aluminum riser bow - available in 30" and 34" axle to axle configurations and a "Turbo" version they didn't list the ATA. 30 and 34 ATA versions shoot 330, Turbo shoots 340. The only real innovation I see for this year is their "Air Shox". It looks like a solid mount from the riser or limb pocket that runs on the outside of the limb and has rubber dampeners mounted to it. When the limb flexes at full draw and then returns when shot, the Air Shox are supposed to stop vibration. Not sure how much of an impact it will really have on shootability, but it's a cool idea. In the Carbon series bows it doesn't look like much has changed either, other than the inclusion of the Air Shox. The rest looks pretty well unchanged from last year. In the mid range bow they have the Charger, which should retail bare bow for around $499. Looks like a really good mid level bow - 3.8 lbs, 325 fps, Fuse (BCY) strings, etc. From what I'm seeing, it looks like more bow companies are really paying attention to that mid-level price range that is within reach for more people. The bows are nicer with more features for a cheaper price, and have some pretty nice accessory packages as well. It also looks like they have either a Tight Spot quiver ripoff, or a rebranded version called the Arrow Rack. Here's some videos they put up on YouTube today.
