I'm pretty confident that Fournette will sign with LSU. LSU is going all-in for him with not signing any RBs last year, and only signing 1 other back this year. I would only be worried about Bama, but Bama signed like 3 RBs last year, and has like 3 more committed this year.
The kid is a studd, I cannot see Michigan winning this one, unless Les flips out and tells the kid how great Michigan is, haha
I would think the recruiting class ranking is more of just saying the potential is there. Like either hook or germ said you still haveta develope those players, hs success doesn't translate into college success jus like college doesn't translate into NFL. You haveta have the coaches and staff to get that player to a higher level. Hell everybody keeps bringing up ND and we usally have decent classes but that jasnt translated into many wins as of late, or at least since 2006 or 07 when Quinn and them guys were seniors.(although another SEC team in the sugar bowl stomped that team)
I didn't feel like reading this entire thread, but this post is awesome! Germy, please give us all a warning the next time you make CFB predictions... give a guy a chance to pull his boots up!!
He reneged on IU before he did so to LSU. The kid was a flake from the word go. I'm not sure why you'd say I'm a negative Nancy. I'm just trying to point out that Michigan fans are delusional in that they consider themselves one of the power teams in college football. Uh, okay... Sure looks to me like you were trying to say they're on the same level as Bama, LSU, etc.
So we have recruited well the past three years means we are on par with those schools? Ummm Sorry, we have just recruited at their level since Hoke took over, we are no where near playing at that level. facts are this, we have recruited at the top tier level the past three year, I expect this year we start to play to that talent level. Yes Michigan name on a national level is still viewed very high, regardless of the play. The schools I listed was not about how they have played the last 10 years, but how they are viewed in the public eye as "Football Schools"
It's really cute watching guys argue over who is 8th vs 9th best. If they did away with auto bids for BCS bowls all would be right in the world.
