I'm guessing Madison is a lot better town than Fayetteville as well.

I'd be salty just like you had I witnessed my team get Tressel-balled.

The Hogs didn't do anything special in that game... That is how Tressel coached. He would call a great first half and build a lead. He would than play defense and field positioning in the second half. You got Tresseled, bro.

I could not care less about the tOSU's bowl record against the SEC. Sucks they lost the only two that mattered against the Gators and Tigers. All the rest were just marginal bowls that don't matter.

What was Michigan up to bowl season of 2010? Oh I remember getting slammed by Mississippi State... 52-14.

You pretty have to much since you dont have anything else. One game with one of the worse coaches in the SEC and McFadden not at full speed.

And as for not being able to find a record of that game, OSU "vacated" it because they cheated.

Fayetteville is actually a pretty cool town. It's surrounded by the Ozarks, so it's quite pretty.

We have seemed to hold our own against the SEC and other "fast" teams.

However, with Bama and LSU looming on our schedule it is time to put our big boy pants on. LOL

Well hopefully the game up here actually occurs. I'm crossing my fingers as well.

You can think what you want. I am about here and now, not the Liberty bowl of 1980-whatever.

Germ is the one who likes to talk about the ole' days. Not me.

I mean really, Michigan and Notre Dame fans are the only people who hang their hats on the past. Oh and Arkansas fans remembering that one season they didn't suck and actually made a BCS game... Only to get Tresseled.

Buckeye, if SWEATER VEST was that great he would still be at OSU.

The vest is one of the best coaches of my generation, for sure top 5. I can't speak of before my time (and really don't care) but Tressel was a fantastic coach. tOSU went on a hell of a run under his guidance.

You're right buckeye, during the regular season and not against the SEC.

If I was an osu fan Id rather talk about something other than my record against the SEC too. It was actually more like 0-9 before the Arkansas game wasnt it?

As for Tressel, yeah he was a good coach for that conference even though he cheated to do what he did. He'd be middle of the pack in the SEC though.

Meyer will probably do good up there too. He'll need a few criminals to fill out the roster but they probably wont be that hard to find.

6-3 in BCS games is not good post season play? Granted they lost two championship games but they did beat a team that was coined as the most talented football team of all time and unbeatable the Canes.

I will talk about it all you want. tOSU lost to two good SEC teams, FL and LSU. . The only SEC loses that mean anything to me are the FL beat down and the LSU loss. The rest of the loses were played by marginal teams on both sidelines, playing in meaningless bowl games.

Saying Tressel was / is a middle of the pack coach shows you either have no idea what you are talking about or have some sort of agenda. Love or hate his style of coaching, he is a tremendous football coach.
