Illinois won't win a conference game this year. 2-10 sounds about right.

IU cut down the nets for a regular season championship on their court after a LOSS.... It's almost a shame to see a once great program fall to the depths that it has... Almost.

As for football, UK is still a few years from being decent. Love the new hire and he is kicking *** recruiting up in Ohio. Still looking at 2-3 wins this year though.

Bama will go undefeated again taking the NC 4 of 5 years. The Dynasty Saban has built is almost to unfair proportions. I PRAY OSU wins out for a match up with them to be beaten down like ND last year. Nothing is worse than OSU fans chirping about how great they are for beating up the HS teams found in the Big Ten...

Bama will not go undefeated. I'm 100% sure of this.

Almost every modern day dynasty has been busted years later for cheating:ninja: in college football.

I don't think Saban is paying his players anymore than any other big time program is, but I do believe that blatant steroid use is pretty obvious at Alabama.

Coach Knight was set up with a list of rules that were never defined.

Eh, games get heated. Apparently UM folks disregard that Meyer said something to Crean first.

The football team WILL go bowling this year. It may not be a BCS bowl, but hey, any bowl for IU is a big deal.

When was IU basketball irrelevant? Even after the Sampson fiasco they were still selling out games. When has Michigan basketball ever been relevant? Maybe a flash in the pan here or there, but they are never mentioned amongst the bluebloods of college basketball. Even when they had success they couldn't do so without cheating.

Let's see, five national championships in basketball, eight national championships in soccer. Numerous track and field national championships. One of the most respected swimming and diving programs in the country, plus they have won some of those fancy national championships as well. The baseball team played in the College World Series this year. They were even ranked the #1 party school one of the years I was on campus.

Yeah, IU sucks and the school isn't good at anything.

I'd be angry too if I were a Michigan fan. After all, we all know one thing...

It was the plan, win or lose. At that point that they had wrapped up at least a share of the B1G title and wanted to share the moment with their fans, on senior night.

It's okay though, because they won the title outright that weekend after they beat Michigan in Ann Arbor.

When you are three years removed from using a baseball players to fill out your basketball roster, winning the conference championship is a big deal.

It's not just Michigan. I dislike all the other B1G schools equally, well mostly equal anyway. Of course Purdue is tops on my list, but it seems Michigan fans are more likely to take the bait. Apparently for those folks it is a big deal to be second fiddle.

I think Coach Wilson will get IU to a competitive level. I don't expect them to win the B1G or compete for the title, but I'd be happy with going to a bowl game every couple of years. His staff has done well recruiting wise and there seems to be a lot of excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the program this year. If the defense can get a couple of key stops in a game or two that will make a huge difference. Offense is the least of their worries. They gave tOSU all they wanted last year, but the defense couldn't get a stop when they needed.

I live in Indiana. Basketball is a year round topic here.

As the good Dr. Naismith said, "basketball may have been born in Massachusetts, but it grew up in Indiana."

I absolutely cant stand Bama so it pains me to say this but I think theyll play Ohio State in the NC game. Bama will be there because theyre good. Ohio State will be there because of their schedule and their past reputation (even though they didnt really play anybody then either).

A & M doesnt get Bama after LSU this year plus Bama has a bye before that game. I think theyll get a little better introduction to the SEC this year.

I dont think Mettenberger is good enough to win LSU many games especially since they lost so much on the defense.

I think Georgia will beat SC and win the East but doubt theyll be able to get past Bama in the championship game.

9 wins for Kentucky? Have a few more.

I dont understand the hate you Wisconsin fans have for Bielema since you seem to think he cant coach anyway.

Is it just because he dropped yall like a hot potato when he got the chance to go to a better program in a better conference with more money and better facilities?

I think the Hogs might surprise a few people this year. No SEC championship or anything like that but the cupboard aint completely bare and with the coaching staff Bielema has put together Bama is about the only game they dont have at least a chance in.

Since when is Arkansas a better program than Wisconsin? At least Wisconsin has won a few Rose Bowls. What has Arkansas done?

To Hook's point this thread is about college football predictions.

Hooker, I think you and I agree that both Miles and Saban will beat A&M setting up a forth classic this regular season.

Yes if I were an IU fan I hate all the other schools that are better than mine, haha

IU will have a losing record in Football again, IU does not matter, never has and never will.

The Rose Bowl will not even let Michigan buy tickets to the game this year, let alone play in it!
