I am sorry which basketball team made the final 4 this year? Mi won a BSC bowl on 2011, when was the last time IN won a bowl? Ohio and Indiana have something's in common, all their iconic coaches get fired for abusing kids and the system
They made the Final Four, but they finished looking up at Louisville like every other team in the country. Last I checked IU swept Michigan last year...winning the B1G on Michigan's home court. A BCS bowl in 2011? Great, but what have they done lately? IU hasn't played in a bowl since 2007 and it's been much longer since they've won a bowl game. I am not tooting my horn saying IU is some football power. At this point I'd be happy to see IU in a bowl, but at least I don't have these delusions that they will compete for a NC like Michigan fans think every year. I don't know who abused any kids. Coach Knight tried to make a point to a student that he needs to be respectful when addressing his elders. I don't know of any other iconic IU coach that has been fired, so keep grasping at straws. Pure Michigan.
I believe, since he said system, that he is referring to Kelvin Sampson. Although I wouldn't consider him iconic.
LOL, yes and remember Indiana was sitting at Home watching Michigan play in the final four, and Ohio was also. Bobby Night was fired for abusing kids, LOL Woody Hayes fired for abusing kids, Tressel "retired" for being a liar. I'll take final four appearance any day over conference championships for Basketball.
Who did Coach Knight ''abuse''? Cool, you made the Final Four, but again you played second fiddle, just like everyone else in the land, to Louisville. Hopefully that Final Four appearance holds up unlike the last couple of times Michigan went that far. At least IU has never had to abandon any banners due to players getting paid.
I like this guy... Never saw a IU man dislike UM so much, and I love it. IU made a solid HC hire this last time around. IU (also see Purdue) exceed expectations the next couple years. IU may even go bowling this holiday season.
