Got a 2013 black60 after how much I love my 2012black60. I like the old info strip better, but this new one isnt bad.

Moved it to my clover plot and had enough false triggers. On the cameras defense I have other brands of cams there and had false triggers. Covert is just more sensitive and got more. It is a combo of the tree line the camera is on and is facing another tree line/shadows and ants causing the triggers.

Nighttime flash can get out 50 feet. Ideally if there was corn planted here instead of beans come fall I would have a backdrop. First year corn was 10 feet tall!. So no complaints on the blackflash at night. Everything I expected of a blackflash camera at night.

I moved it onto my homemade stand(got to be gentle with it on a stand) and left the strap on it and wrapped it around the post. Low and behold a little piece of strap got in the seal and Ants found there way in........ Plus come to find the camera is facing the neighbors yard light and road a 1/4 mile away.

So I took apart the camera, got all the ants out, froze and it all is well. I spray down the camera area/tree/post with Ortho Ant spray from now on. For 5 bucks it will last a year. Cheap insurance.

I had to put the camera on "low sensitivity" and it is acting like it should. I moved it around a few spots to make sure and all is well.

Here is a picture of it on "low". Tractor spraying the beans is over 100 feet away and moving at a good pace. I will get some more pictures day/night time when I can.

My internet connection is sorta slow and uploading to photbucket takes a bit longer with the 12mp pictures.
