Let me start by saying...DARN I'M COLD!!! The temperature dropped really quick. Sat all afternoon and only saw a fox come into range, I let it pass. Right at 5:15 there came 4 does running like there was a pack of dogs chasing them. They stopped about 60 yards past my stand. I know they didn't wind me because the wind was perfect all day. I don't think they saw me until I had to get down and maybe not then. I think they walked off but it was dark by then and I can't be sure. I'll try again another time. I'll be back at it again in the morning, last weekend here until Oct. 1. 4 tags, 3 days and 1 1/2 empty freezers. Hoping for a fairy tale ending
Up the tree for an evening sit. Pretty gusty winds hopefully my luck turns around today. Good luck if anybody else is out hunting today.
Well my luck hasn't changed any. Haha. Nothing happened this evening. but hey there's always the next hunt to look forward to.
50 degrees in January, yea I'll take that. Pretty windy but still a nice day out, only thing is got my 870 instead of bow but its still good to be in woods. Good luck anybody else and be safe.
