Thanks. Amazingly enough it didn't get on my boots. Just my hand, and everything I touched after that  Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2
Well back up in a tree. I set up on a rub and scrap line I found. I have a big hemlock to my back so I have some back cover. I'm right on the edge of a hillside. Boy it's warm out for October...my bad its December...whew!
Out in orange with a bow in hand. Been holding out all season for a buck with no luck...its doe time.
There goes my hunt! Had a bunch of kids with their parents come storming down the trail (state park). Then I had A home/landowner come down and tell me I was in the safety zone (150 yds here). Although I was right on the line, I didn't argue with him, I just packed up. Nothin was gonna come by after all that anyway.
I did I just can't bring myself to come on here again just to say I didn't see anything again... I'm getting the late season blues Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Live from the ground. With the 12 gauge slugger in hand. Taking a different approach to today. Haven't been seeing deer from the stand so I'm gonna still hunt today. Have about 40 mins until shooting hours. Good luck out there to everyone hunting. Be safe.
Just got in a stand with reception. Wearing orange for muzzleloader season, but bow is in hand. Sat in the bottoms to begin the day. There's a nice low spot that fills with water after a rain. Was hoping enough rain came down overnight. It was full, but about 7:30 I had 3 antlerless deer run straight to me tails up. They stood just inside the wood line for about 10 seconds and then took back off tails up. Assuming coyotes, but they ran the wrong way down the trail I was hoping the deer to come down. Had 2 does come by about 15 minutes later but never presented a shot. Got down about 8:30 and still hunted to this stand. They move through here until about 10:30, but with the cool damp weather debating whether to sit all day.
Wish we could have had a day like this during peak rut. Absolutely perfect conditions, everything is right but the timing. Had a deer blowing about 20 minutes ago, couldn't get a visual. Think my uncle was headed back to the house. Think I'm going to climb down about 10:30 and swap cam cards. Probably give it a rest until next weekend, uncle's using the muzzleloader and yet to fill one of his tags
Well first sit in about a week, at least it's a little colder than what it was last week. Good luck and be safe tonight.
In the stand, colder and a little breezy. Muzzleloader season so I'm weary this ridiculously bright crap.
Last day I need to wear this orange crap in NY but I'm up in a stand looking over a nice open patch. I spooked a doe a little walking in and there are deer paths coming into this spot from all different directions. Best of luck tonight guys!!! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Just got settled in and had 3 does come by. Been seeing a lot of evening movement on the cam around this stand. Maybe tonight is the night here in NE Oklahoma.
Up here in NY the sun is setting way to early. It gets to dark to shoot after 450 now a days Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
