Alright I'm in and up tree waiting on light. Came back to the public land spot that I saw that 6 point on last weekend. Hopefully he comes again while I'm in the tree instead of on the ground and presents me a good shot. Calm winds and 32° couldn't ask for a nicer morning. Good luck everyone in the woods today. Be safe

Good luck remy i hope you get a shot on that 6. I also just got in my stand nice and early. I have some really nice bucks on camera in this spot let's hope they show themselves and give me a nice shot. Best of luck to everyone!

Just got settled in. Later than I would have liked but a lot of work. Should have looked at this tree a little better in daylight. Good luck everyone!

Nah not the devil. Haha. I'll be out here with the old "slug slinger" when its the season for it here in RI. BTW I also am blazed up because its currently muzzleloader here and we're still allowed to bow hunt through it.

Getting a little down on myself no sight of blood I hit her a little high because it nicked a branch I didn't see before the shot... I'm going back out tomorrow and giving her some time....

Hunted public land this am saw a 4 pt and a doe and this when I got back to my truck. Makes me wanna punch someone in the face. Looked to be 2.5 yr old antlers sawed off also was a doe next to it. If I had to guess I'd say they were shot on private land and dumped here.[IMG]

No arrow I'm not sure why it didn't go through... I'm super bummed right now! I feel like it was a high shot so it might have gotten stopped on the opposite ribs because there tighter together up high. I really hope I see her tomorrow I'm going in a stand tonight and I don't want to push her out to far and lose all hope of finding her... I'm pretty bummed I won't lie, but I won't give up on her

Not going as well for me as the rest hunting. Wind was forecast for calm switching to the east at 5mph in the afternoon.

9am seen some legs through openings in the bedding area. Don't see anything else until 12:15 when a doe comes out of bedding with tail half up looking back. I think here we go, she starts heading down the trail. I get ready and wait for him to appear and the wind picks up from the SW. She freezes, smells the air and turns and takes a few leaps back into the bedding. Wind calms back down. Then 12:45 I see another slick head coming, I again get ready. It's coming straight down the trail to pass in front of me. Button buck, walks by at 5yds and not a care in the world.

4 hours left, not looking good. Wind still blowing more west than south. Definitely not east which would be absolutely perfect
