    Just nailed my first buck last night!!!

    35 yard lung buster! :D

    Had trouble holding the pin on him since my hands were shaking so much hahaha

    9 point non-typical!

    Really slow now, surprising really.

    Just ate and watched the recording. I'm 98% certain it's a bobcat, but there's that 2% possibility it's a cheetah cub. Never seen a bobcat before, may never see one again. They're more prevalent in southern IL , pretty cool none the less.

    Now the deer seem to be rare, go figure

    While I was walking in tonight I heard the thundering of hooves and looked up to see two absolute giants running a doe. They came within 5 yards of me and 10 yards from where I was going to sit. I couldn't get an arrow nocked fast enough to stop one of them for a shot. If I had been in a minute earlier it would've worked out perfect. At least I know the rut is on!

    Just had an absolute brute chase a doe around on the other side of the ditch about 15 minutes ago. Had his attention with grunts and an excited wheeze attempt. She managed to sneak away from him and I tried a few bleats and grunts but couldn't get him to commit. Waited hoping he may circle back but turkeys have now started to roost.

    Got the heart rate up there

    6 deer so far, have this little spike running around, mouth open, chasing everything off. Only antlers I've seen
