First morning sit of the year for me. Got in the stand about 7:00, and rattled in 2 different 6 pointers before 8:30. Good morning so far.

As soon as class is over for me i am heading out to my stand. I hope to be up there around 12:00 and stay till about 4-5ish. The moon should be underfoot around 2:30pm and there is a very light rain which should be in my favor. We shall see what happens!!! Good luck to everyone going out today!!!

Are you wanting to shoot it?

If he is in your effective range and you can get turned and drawn back you can do that and make some noise to try to get him standing. Or simply wait him out and hope he walks your way. Maybe try a few muffled grunts pointed away from you/him or a bleat

If you're not going to shoot him, watch him and enjoy nature. May learn something about their habits, or maybe he'll get chased out by a more dominant buck.

Back in the stand. A little later then I wanted, but what do you do. Got the decoy with tonight. 48 degrees and a little windy. Good kick to everyone in the stand tonight!

Just got in stand. Did not get to where i wanted due to time. I'm in a little clearing on the edge of some denser stuff with a field right outside. I'm only 75 yards from the trails but there's a lot of sign here. Time will tell.

You know what's nice? When the leaves clear enough to show that the neighbor planted a big food plot 80 yds from where u are. No wonder this has been such a hot spot!
