Its game time ladies and gents I got my war face on and I'm in stand... its real chilly this morning, no fog, and light wind in my face I'm feeling good. I had a deer pass me right when I got in my stand but it was pitch black let's hope it happens again. Good luck everyone!!!

Don't believe they are. And don't know of any in the state or ever heard of anyone using them here. I'm gonna spend today searching again. Hopefully I can make something happen. Bout to walk back in the woods.

Just saw the same buck from last night. Started as a speck on the hill and ended up 70 yards from me. He is about 120", I actually got a better look at him this time

Just shot a buck! I think I single lunged it. Was not a pass thru shot. My arrow went in directly behind his right shoulder quartering away shot. Heard it hit bone. Probably the shoulder on the other side. Gonna give it a couple hours to die before I track. Will post up results later.

Nice cap! I've killed a number of deer with that shot. In each case the broadhead hit the far shoulder, then as the deer ran it came loose and turned their lungs into soup. An average of about 40 yards before they piled up :tu:

    Can't wait to see pics!

Jfergus7 & I just had a small doe come within 10 yrds of us & stayed for 20 min. She was too small to shoot. We got great video footage! Will be out at public spot that I drew tags on later today!

Back from the blind. Got some neat video of the doe but other then that a quiet morning. Headed out this afternoon to get Kristine setup in a tree for a public land hunt she drew a tag for. Good luck everyone!

Taking a lunch break. Walked up and down and across the whole west side of the property. No luck again so far. :( gonna head back out after some food and a little break and do the same to the east side. I really wish I had even a remote bit of blood to work with from the jumped spot. But the blood I had yesterday is all dried up and nearly impossible to see even when I know where to look because I marked it. :(
