Well got rained out, seen one little four pointer... Just pulled into the bone collector store in Ottawa, gonna check the place out
Set up and waiting. Might be my last sit before the pipeline construction starts. Not the best stand but once they start I won't sit here...to close to the work. So I figured I'd hunt it one last time. Fingers crossed

On the ground again, had about .5-.75" of rain earlier. Gusty winds, just got here about 35 minutes ago. Got situated and hung my bow on a broken limb. Not expecting to see anything I've been looking around, leaning up against my tree bow directly behind me and just happen to look up to this. Had phone in hand about to post to the thread. Small one was the one that caught my movement and trotted back out in the corn field. Snuck up to the corn field but they weren't there. Just hoping that wasn't my shot for the day. Then two guys over the creek, neither in camo and talking normally. Not sure if I should move or not. Plenty early to go or stay.

Will be in the tree again in 30min, same area as this A.M. (Gotta play this S wind with a 14 acre woodlot) only deer I saw this morning was the glowing eyes of 3 when I showed up and The spooked, maybe tonight will be better! Found a massive scrap earlier... Going to be withing 30yds of it tonight...
Not a promising sit... It's a balmy 87 degrees, the wind is swirling, and my thermacell is 100yrds away on my bad boy buggy... But hey, I'm in the stand
