I concur, they are just begging for an arrow sent their way.

Just got to my parents farm. Bit to early to head out so gonna hunt from the couch and the remote for a couple hours...hit the stand around noon. The stand I'm hunting is pretty close to their Bedford area so I want to make sure they are tucked in tight before I head up there.

Saw a lot of deer again this morning. Temperatures were down near freezing and at about 8:20 I had a nice 8 point step out next to me. He came in at 20 yards, but he winded me 3 steps before my shooting lane. To make matters worse a little 8 point came in next and walked right through the lane without smelling me. Then 2 giants walked by 60 yards out. Still a fun morning and i'll be back out this afternoon.

Nothing but squirrels this morning. Gonna have to change it up again for this afternoon hunt. Looking at a "go in blind" style hunt this afternoon in a new area. Hope it works out!!!

I'm set up for the afternoon. Gotta be in the most uncomfortable stand ever made. And its a bit open up here. Not sure what I was thinking. The location is great but poor set up. Oh well...ill hunt it n see what happens. Just hope my back doesn't cramp up n kill me lol.

Went out this morning. We spooked all the deer out when we were coming in, they were bedded down right next to our blind. Good news is,now we know there's deer in that area, was getting a little discouraged. Be back out tonight

Back at it again. First buck hunt of the season. Temps are in the 50's, wind is good and very slight. I put out my first mock scrapes this season before climbing the tree. There's a possibility of showers so again I'm hopeful. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349723057.327003.jpg

Just got settled in in Kansas. I'm sitting where two fencerows meet in the middle of a cut corn field on one side, beans on another, and CRP on the third. I've got a fresh rub right in front of me, so it should be a good evening.

Just had a monster run through at 15 yards chasing 3 does. Bleated at him twice and couldn't get him to stop. Is there a better way to stop em while they are running?
