Sitting in the same spot As last night. I had 4 does about 30 yds away with some brush in the way, and when they finally came in an opening, it was too dark. Thinking because its a little warmer they might come here later

Was getting all settled and went to put camera on the tripod and seen the mount is broken. After numerous attempts to rig something up I've came to te realization that this one will not e filmed. With my luck this is the day I catch up with a big bruiser.

Ended up seeing 3 more does tonight at 15 yards. They gave me a perfect broad side shot, but I decided to pass. I only have 4 days to hunt my grandparent's farm in KS every year, and I'm holding out for a buck. Maybe on the last day (Tuesday) I'll shoot a doe.

Temps are dropping here in VA. It will be in the 50's tomorrow. Buck season started last Saturday here. I'll be going out after work at 1:00 pm. Going to the same place I dropped that doe last Monday. There's a decent buck in there someplace, I'll check the cameras. With unlimited does per day I'll shoot whatever come into range though. Hunters for the Hungry still needs meat.

Weather is absolutely perfect. Dropped into the low 30s with our first hard frost. Now the deer need to cooperate!

Had a small group of gobblers come off the roost near me at daybreak. One was strutting, spitting, and drumming. Just had a forky come under my stand and stuff himself of acorns i had just peed on. :)
