No luck today. Someone messed with my stand. Managed to put the sneak on a nice velvet buck, about 110" or so. I almost got greedy and shot him but eventually elected to pass.
Good shooting yesterday Cole. Yesterday AM we got 15. 12 were taken with my 'ol pump 870. My buddies with their $1200+ Benellis just could not figure out how to "git 'r done" with their semi-autos!! I elected to stay home today as we got 2 parties to hit tonight. Hope you get a couple dozen more for the frying pan!
Checking in live from the couch watching "monster trophy whitetails" on the the tube drinking my coffee. Teal season opened today but I've got way too many honey dues to think about doing anything other than working. 3 rooms to clear and pull carpet then a deck to finish then a garage to clean and organize then the man cave to mudd and paste. Any one looking for something to do near STL?
Live from the dove fields again. Strong south winds with slow flying southbound doves =lots of doves hitting the ground Sent from my pocket computer using Tapatalk
First sit of the year. 72 degrees feels decent all set up by 4:30pm. I'm staying till dark which is around 8. I don't expect to see anything but am loving the peace and quiet of the woods!!
Live from the stand Sitting over a trail where I've been getting a lot of activity between 7 and 8 pm so hopefully we'll be putting some Crimson Vanes points on the board tonight ! Good luck to everyone else hunting this evening. Stay safe !
I'm in. Been here for about 15 min. Sun is starting to brighten the woods and the birds and owls are starting in. Good luck to all that are in the woods this morning.
