    Had an 8 point come out with about a half hour of shooting light left. Came across to the picked bean field I was sitting on. He had me pegged by the time he was clear for a shot. I was going to draw whe he was behind some trees, but I had a feeling he was going to hang up, and I would have had to hold it way too long. But he didn't hang up, and by that time, it was too late.

    She went maybe 80':)..Turkey's finally came in and another yote scared them.
    On call the rest of the weekend ..no hunting for me.

    well i ended up shooting a god damn fawn tonight... i didnt see anything during an 8 hour sit, so i decided to do a little spot and stalk i saw 4 does and 1 fawn they all spooked out to 40 yards i picked one out and let it fly. hit the fawn of course and the killzone did a real number

    Love getting to the stand and realize that's.its the only one I didn't prep before the season. Stand squeaks. No shooting to my right. Bow holder doesn't work. Facing the wrong way for a morning hunt. But still better than going to work :)

    Ugh. Missed a doe. Arrow hit a limb and is probably shattered. Found the nocturnal which is broken too lol. Just my luck.

    What a foggy, dreary, dark morning especially for a full moon. I had 3 does around me at 'daylight' and could not see my pins, they spooked and ran. Now its 30 mins after daylight and i can just now see my pins good. Oh well good morning so far, staying somewhat dry.

    A doe and a fawn as well as one unidentified so far this am. Acorns are dropping pretty hard. Feels good to be back.

    Morning hunts have been rough. 3rd a.m. hunt and no deer. See lots in the p.m. guess I'll have to shoot the big one tomorrow night
