With the limited number of vacation days and a limited window of the rut, I keep finding myself looking all over the web for what's going on in the woods. I find a map from field and stream which is a generic map but I want to knwo what's really going on in Southern Wisconsin. So, I'm asking you guys, can you help. What's on the move? Is it just the little guys? Thanks for your help!

The big boys are moving now! My cousin saw a 3.5 yr old buck running with a doe Tuesday night and yesterday he saw a 4.5 yr old 150+ 8 ptr locked down with a doe.

Well I guess it could go either way. In the last week that ive hunted ive seen 7 bucks and 11 does and none were together. the closest Ive gotten to rut activity is a 2 1/2 year old 7 point come in on the same path as a doe about 15 mins after her. But then on the morning of the 27th i had 3 bucks come in together grazing on acorns. the same 7point a little 1 1/2 year old and then a 3 1/2 year old 10 point needless to say a little 2 inch tree got in the way of my arrow. but the deer are deff starting to move more here in rock county. theyre scraping and rubbing pretty hard. i think itll be at least a couple more days yet
