I recently decided to get into bowhunting after many years of strictly rifle hunting. After going to my local bow shop (Archer's Advantage in Little Rock, AR) and shooting a ton of bows I decided on the Carbon Element Bone Collecter. I decided on this one mainly because of how it fells in hand and how easy it was to draw. Before decideing to switch over to bow hunting I've litterly never shot a bow in my life. I've had it for about 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. I spent so much on the bow that I just bought a cheaper 3-pin tru-glo but it actually works great, and the owner of the store gave me a $60 stabilizer for free. I'm shoting cheap Easton Storm 400's that run about $60 a dozen and actually really like them, I couldn't see how spending $10+/arrow could be much better. I haven't decided on a broadhead yet though, any input??

spitfire maxx or edge are nice if you want mech broadheads.
They also have $10 off right now per 3 pack so they are only about $30.

+1 for the NAP Spitfire MAXX broadheads. They punch a heck of a hole and are very reliable.

I just switched from Easton ST Axis N-Fused Realtree arrows to Beman ICS Bowhunters. I went from $10 an arrow to $5 and have no complaints whatsoever. They'll kill deer just the same and so will your Easton arrows.

I used NAP 2 blades last year, they leave a hole like a freakin samurai sword but I prefer the fixed blade muzzys

    Broadheads

I shoot the Slick Trick Magnum 100's and love them. Fixed blades and fly just like field points.
