2010 NC Archery Buck Mount

    I got a call from the taxi yesterday afternoon informing me that my buck was ready for pick up. Needless to say I shot straight over to pick him up. This is my first ever buck and was taken in an urban area on about 5 acres of land in b/w two neighborhoods. I call him Mr.Rodgers. He is not nowhere near some most of the bucks posted on here but he is my first and Im thrilled with him. The taxi work was done by Avery Taxidermy out of Clayton, NC. I think it turned out nice.

    Don't ever worry or compare yourself to the "big bucks" other people kill. Your first buck is not only awesome in that it was your first buck and you killed it with a bow, but it is a NICE buck in general! I would be thrilled to arrow a buck like that cwoods. Maybe you can get another nice buck in the same area this year.

    Awsome looking mount. Don't try and compare yourself to other hunters. Your first buck is better than most "first" bucks. Congratulations.

    great looking buck and the Taxi work looks awesome, its a great buck, first or not, don't fall into the "big buck" thing, if it makes you happy shoot it!! congrats!!!
