This guy came out last night just after six o'clock. I was playing games on my cell phone, and not fully expecting to see anything due to the moon phase. I heard something running through the tall grass and look up to see this guy closing in on the mineral site (baiting is legal in LA). Gives me a quartering away shot at 16 yards. The Air Raid SC through the Rage right through him. Easiest blood trail I have ever followed. It did not hurt that he only made it about 50 yards!
The Air Raid SC just stands for Air Raid Single Cam. It was made by Diamond this year as a special edition bow for Bass Pro. Shot it and loved it. It shoots every bit as good as my Tribute's did. Specs are pretty much the same as the Air Raid by Bowtech. Except it is a little slower, with a single cam and a little longer brace height.
Thanks guys. It is definitely not my biggest, but I did not put a tag on a buck last year. This year has started off well with two nannies and this guy. I will turn my focus on mature bucks only for the rest of the year as we have plenty of meat.
