Not sure if I've shared this with you guys yet - but here he is.

I've seen him once when hunting - and my grandpa saw him twice....once MINUTES before he got shot.

He ran the edge of our field and cut up into the timber about 200 yards from my grandpa...5 minutes later there was a gun shot from a stand that sits 40 yards off of our property line...

Complete stud. I saw him 2 years ago, and guessed him at 175"...this year shot and scored at 201"....I'm sure that's a rough, gross measurement.

As the story goes - the brother of the guy who shot the deer - hit him in the shoulder a week prior, with an arrow. He was shot with a shotgun.

Even WEIRDER about this neighbor is that they RELENTLESSLY run 4-wheelers year around....for pleasure (yuck).

I know! I had no idea that he had that.

I saw his left side - for about 5 minutes. Never once did he turn so I could see that drop off the base.

Good thing - I would have lost my marbles! When I first saw him, he was at 50 yards through trees. He then kept going East into a really thick finger of ours.

    So close!

Incredible buck. You are fortunate to have had a chance to hunt such a buck.

What is that coming off his drop? It looks like a tube or something.
