well tonight i went out and got awesome footage i saw 15 bucks, 2 monsters a 160" 8pt. and the big boy showed up on film a solid 190" 200" typical 10pt. clean 5x5 he is a giant he gave me every angle you could imagine. i was set up on a bean field with tall grass behind me. i heard something coming the grass was shaking. all of a sudden a coyote jumps in to the field 10ft. from me and the camera. i swing the camera on to him and got some awesome footage i lip squeeked him and stopped him three or four times as he scurried across the field. it was a absolutetly unbelievable night of filming i will never forget....thats all for now i will be back out on them tomorrow night hopefully for some more awesome footage.
Richie, glad to here your getting some good footage!! The camera setup you had at the GTG looked awesome. hope to see some footage of the big guy!!! Hey it was nice chatting with you to hope your there next year!!
im working on it siman.....im new to this whole filming/editing stuff....rookie in training....LOL...
The footage has a couple of awesome deer and several others that are definite shooters. One deer is very big and very typical and has a huge 8 pointer he rolls with. It will be worth the wait
I'm in the same boat, I got several bucks on film the night of the 29th including one monster with a 6-8" drop tine off the back of his right main beam. It may take me a bit to get the footage edited right, but I'll share it as soon as it is done. The big buck is, conservatively, a solid 190" deer. I also filmed a 170-ish buck, a couple of 160's, and several P&Y bucks. They have really been out showing themselves this year.
