Actually it was a tribute to huntingson who was not there this year....he would run the grounds 18 laps to get in his 6 miles....that is dedicated

Nothing about the NE GTG copies the IL. Course you have to show up after saying so to know that. LMAO.

Like Rob (elk) said, it was a tribute to huntingson from last years gtg.

Same with the staged passout by the fire, tribute for Fergie and the grief he got, it's a joke.

We think of our friends and tribute our friends.

No GTG will ever be able to duplicate the "Clutch" shot by Josh at the Black Buck....and he did that with his cell phone ringing with the "I love you" ringtone from home..lol

It was a blast, too bad you had to go to whatever family function you had to go to, you missed a good one. And how dare you call that pic staged.....:D Those guys wouldn't dare.....

    Doug,
Sorry, I wasn't counting ROB in the top 2 because he's a cheating "ringer." :D (Or maybe I made a mistake)

I'll be waiting Preach.....:D Some of the guys are starting to think you're a fake, you're gonna have to do something to redeem yourself. Seriously though, I understand you have to be dedicated to your job first especially going through a job change, and I hope everything works out for you and you can enjoy the festivities next year with the rest of us.

You will see pics of Chris and I, and Rob and I during hunting season this year .... you will know I am real ....;) ..... the new job is sportin 9 weeks paid vacation :D.... so I can't see why I wouldn't be able to make it, sans a death or serious illness .... besides, I can't WAIT to beat you at your OWN board ;)

One more question that concerns me, Dougie .... I noticed in the one pic ...... you knees are wet  ahhh .. nevermind ....

Well I posted a bunch of new pics on the other site. I can't go through all that again. LOL Anyway to those of you who made it to our GTG Thank You for coming. Those who didn't your loss. It was my pleasure getting this thing together again. I enjoy hanging out and listening to all the hunting stories from everyone.

Now that this is over I can get down to planning on the up coming deer season. Alot to do yet.I have the pleasure of being close to Rob (elkhuntingnut) so we can always get together and shoot> Actually we do all the time. 07Tomkat is pretty close as well as Mudshark, we cross paths at area 3-D shoots. We should all get together a few more times during the year and shoot.

Buckeye didn't make it, but says we're gonna get together and shoot a 3-D before long. We can meet about an hour out for each of us. I won't hold my breath. I've been hearing that all spring and summer long. That is about as likely as Justin or Todd replying to a PM

That we did have....I am not sure there was a dull moment. The bad part is what it seemed short. I think what makes it fun is shooting the 30 target course that is well laid out and then being able to go back, shoot a few targets and then set our sights on the 100 yarder.

I never did the archery poker, but that was interesting to say the least.
