Well, after not getting picked (story of my life) for a license, I checked on the status of the surplus archery licenses in the area that I have permission to hunt private land.

They have a total of 7 licenses left. They go on sale in March. This sucks. But I am going to be there at the license center to give it a [chance in hell] shot at getting one. If not, I may have to do some homework as to where I can get one for some public property.

UPDATE: I am now going to be looking at some public land WMA's around some other areas. I know there are a lot of open licenses in zones that are close by this other one, So in the next few weeks, I am going to start studying those areas.

Also, as a side note. I think i'll draw the teams out of the first 25 soon, that way we can see who shows up and what not. I figure we can give everyone a week to sign in then after that we will assign alts and the teams will be final.

Im likin our odds already. Crick is money, and GMMAT is do as well. I will need a blessing from the gods to ever turn around my bowhunting luck with turkey:computer: ,...not too sure about you other chumps though...LOL

Al, you going to add teams out of the Alt list once all the original teams are filled? The more contestants in, the more we can brag to later in the summer...food for thought.

3 cheers for team 5 Can hardly wait for turkey season to get here. It's going to be a long wait until May 20th, but I will get some practice in calling for my 2 boys. One has the first season in WI and the other has the 3rd. Then I get stuck with the last season(6th). Team 5 lets Git R Done!
