2009 Bowhunting.com turkey hunting contest rules and sign-up (Teams posted!)

The Rules:

The drawing will be random, once the teams are chosen they will asseble and choose a captain, as well as a name.

All entries will be score using the NWTF scoring system.

Each hunter gets one bird to be used for their team score. Although, in multiple bird states, the hunter shall be allowed to enter their largest bird for the contest.

Only bow kills will be accepted. The hunter must provide a picture of the full turkey, hunter and bow all in the same frame. No excuses folks!

If you aren't able to score your quarry for whatever reason, identify if your bird as a Hen, Bearded Hen, Jake, or Tom, and you can use this table if you're unable to score: Hens 10 points; Bearded Hens 15 points; Jakes 20 points; and Gobblers 30 points. (Thanks Kyle)

Hunters must abide by their states specific turkey hunting regulations in order to enter a bird in this contest. Obviously this is "for fun" event, so we shouldn't expect any problems with this.

Drawing will be held on February 25th.
