What a STUD of a blacktail!! I was reading Chuck Adams's "Super Slam" book on the way out to Colorado... and he was calling one that looked very similar a buck of a lifetime, so I can imagine how that thing stacks up. Great job!!!

Got my earn-a-buck doe on opening morning.

Photos aren't great. Camera battery died before I could get in-the-woods 'hero' photos. Since I'm hunting on U of IL property, they cut up her face and throat to get age, tissue and bone samples. Her poor head is almost hacked all the way off. I'm not really trying to strangle a dead deer even tho' that's what it looks like.
